Kevin Magnussen seems to have been excited after his first test session with the Porsche 919 Hybrid on the Catalunya circuit in Barcelona (Spain). The former McLaren-Honda test driver participated this Tuesday, November 10 in the tests of the prototype in Stuttgart alongside Oliver Turvey and Mitch Evans.
" It was really good. It's the first car I've driven in six or seven months and it's incredibly powerful.", commented the 2013 Formula champion Renault 3.5 Series. “You can quickly feel that it is probably one of the most advanced racing cars in the world. I can't wait to get back behind the wheel. »
Kevin Magnussen will take advantage of the second day of testing to improve his marks at the wheel of the prototype, having evolved so far in car. “I have to work on several points, notably braking. You don't really know when you're blocking the front wheels because you can't see them. I also have to get used to the visibility being worse than in a single-seater”, specified the 2011 vice-champion of the F3 British.
