24 Hours of Daytona – H+19: Big battle between Aitken and Campbell

By coffee time, Jack Aitken and Matt Campbell were already wide awake on the track, hitting the track in quick succession shortly after 7 a.m. (local) in the morning. It was ultimately the Australian pilot who had the last word to allow the Porsche official n°7 to retain the lead of the 24 Hours of Daytona at the end of the 19th hour. The No. 6 Porsche occupies third place ahead of the No. 5 customer Porsche and the No. 40 WTRAndretti Acura.

LM P2

Overall winner in 2023, Colin Braun leads the charge in LM P2 in the No. 07 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca 04. Pietro Fittipaldi, replacing Clément Novalak, is in third position with the No. 52 Inter Europol.

GTD / GTD Pro

The No. 1 Paul Miller Racing BMW continues to lead the GTD Pro field, while the Ferrari n°023 of Triarsi Competizione is in first place in the GTD. Lamborghini Iron Lynx n°60 Romain Grosjean will not start again today after experiencing a gearbox problem overnight.
