La Team Ferrari is set to begin a three-day test session this afternoon at Fiorano, having been forced to postpone its session yesterday after an administrative imbroglio prevented it from running with its car of last year. But once preparation of the 71 SF2018H is complete, it will be on track with Robert Shwartzman, the new test driver for the champion team. F3 in 2019 and vice-champion of F2 in 2021.
The two holders of the bucket, Carlos Sainz et Charles Leclerc, they will come into action tomorrow, the Spaniard setting off at the start of the morning. Back to basics for Sainz, who made his debut with Ferrari just a year ago, on January 27, 2021, aboard the SF71H, the team's single-seater in 2018. Charles Leclerc will drive throughout the rest -noon, while Shwartzman will return Friday to finish the session.
