Clearly, the Christian Horner affair is far from over. If calm seemed to have returned to the ranks of Red Bull, at least publicly, two new episodes have started, Friday March 15 and Saturday March 16. Opposed to the main team of the Austrian team, the Englishman's personal assistant decided to counterattack.

As reported by our colleagues from Dutch daily newspaper De Telegraaf, the latter, suspended by Red Bull last week, appealed the decision. If she initially had five working days to appeal, the person concerned obtained additional time since she hired a new lawyer, reports the Dutch media.

Then, this Saturday, the with the BBC indicated that the assistant had also decided to file a complaint with the FIA ethics committee, regarding the alleged behavior of Christian Horner. BBC Sport has learned that a first complaint was made on February 2 to the FIA ethics and compliance helpline. It made a direct reference to Mr Horner's behavior towards a female employee, asking the FIA to look into the matter and expressing fear that Red Bull was trying to cover up the matter.

The second complaint, filed a month later on March 6, referenced the first and warned that the whistleblower would then inform the media. This was done by sending several compromising photos to specialized journalists on the sidelines of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

New attack on Horner

As a reminder, Christian Horner is the target of a complaint from his personal assistant for inappropriate behavior, including messages of a sexual nature. An internal investigation was then launched by Red Bull following which the main team was cleared.

Despite this decision, the matter is far from being buried since the complainant returned to the charge with this appeal hoping to win her case. If he thought he was rid of this problem, Christian Horner is once again involved in an extra-sporting affair. But will he still be able to resist?

The 'victim' changes lawyers, wouldn't he be convinced of the "honesty" of his client? ! ?
