In the turmoil after two particularly complicated Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo absolutely must wake up if he still wants claim Sergio Perez's seat at Red Bull. And for the Australian driver, there's no better place to make an impression than Melbourne. At home, it's Honey Badger's time to shine.

This Australian Grand Prix seems to give him wings. Ricciardo returns to his land, more uplifted than ever. “I'm at home, I feel good, it's warm, there's sunshine, I'm really looking forward to it! I'm going to put in a good performance, I can feel it in my Australian veins. I can't wait to be there, on the fast circuit at Albert Park. » The Racing Bulls driver will also be able to count on the unconditional support of his fans present in Australia throughout the weekend.

For its part, Yuki tsunoda intends to repeat his performance from last year (the Japanese managed to score the point for 10th place). The challenge for him is to continue his good momentum from the start of the season, while keeping Ricciardo in his back. “I love the track: medium-high speed corners, some slow sections in the last sector, so it's a bit of a mix. I scored a point last year so I have good memories. I hope I can do it again this year”, enthuses Tsunoda.

Racing Bulls in the dark

We expected to see Racing Bulls a little higher in the hierarchy at the start of the season. Unfortunately for the little sister of Red Bull, reality quickly caught up with her. For this third meeting of the season, the points still seem a little too far away. “I took part in a few simulation sessions to prepare myself. It's difficult to predict how we will behave there. We will try to maximize our performance and then we will see how things go for the results,” continues Yuki Tsunoda.
