A special livery for McLaren in Abu Dhabi

Accustomed to special liveries, McLaren will use a new one for the final Grand Prix of this 2022 season, contested in Abu Dhabi. This unique design was designed by Lebanese artist Anna Tangles. 

“As a fan of F1 always, I would never have believed that one day my works would be exhibited during a Grand Prix, She says. I dedicate my free time to training and encouraging other artists, especially other Middle Eastern female creatives, to embrace their passion and skills, and so it is a privilege to be part of a community that supports the same ambition to empower underrepresented artists in this way. »

In 2021, McLaren had also worn a special dress for the last meeting of the year. It was already the work of an artist, Rabab Tantawy. 

Earlier this season, the British team used a Cyberpunk decoration at the Singapore and Japanese Grands Prix. 

This special livery coincides with the last Grand Prix of Daniel Ricciardo with the team based in Woking (Great Britain).
