Esteban Ocon (Force India) placed 8e ahead of Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) and Sergio Perez (Force India) for the top 10.
Romain Grosjean (Haas), in difficulty with his car, was at the gates of the top 10 in front Nico Hulkenberg (Renault), Carlos Sainz Jr (Toro Rosso) and Kevin Magnussen (Haas) in 14e instead.
Jolyon Palmer (Renault) placed 16e before Lance stroll (Williams) and Marcus Ericsson (Sauber).
