La Formula 1 entered into a 15-year partnership with English football club, Tottenham Hotspur. This agreement will result in a high-tech installation of karting electric, which will be the first of its kind in a stadium, as well as London's longest indoor track which will run under the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The facility, based under the stadium's South Stand, will have separate tracks for adults and children, both accredited by the National Karting Association.

F1 and the Premier League club will also develop a new academy program to “identify the next generation of F1 drivers”. One of the main aims of the program will be to create career opportunities in motorsport for local young people, promoting diversity.

« As we continue to grow our sport, partnering with world-renowned brands such as Tottenham Hotspur allows us to bring Formula 1 and motorsport to new and more diverse audiences, explains Stefano Domenicali, the president of Formula 1. The Karting Experience will be a destination and venue that families, friends and aspiring drivers from around the world will want to visit and enjoy, engaging new audiences and providing an accessible entry point to the world of motorsport. Our two brands have a shared vision to create life-changing career opportunities, promote diversity and inclusion, such as through the recently announced F1 Academy, and drive environmental sustainability – our innovative partnership will bring it all to life that. »

« Since the construction of this stadium, our ambition has always been to see how far we can push the boundaries in delivering world-class experiences that will attract people from all over the world all year round., adds Daniel Levy, president of the London club. We were able to bring the biggest names in sport and entertainment to London N17 (the Tottenham district. Editor’s note). We are extremely excited about what this long-term partnership with F1 will bring to our global, national and local communities. »

The collaboration between the two entities will also involve sustainability initiatives to promote environmental responsibility as part of F1's zero carbon commitment by 2030.
