Glock joins Manor

The German Timo Glock, once anticipated at Renault to be alongside Robert Kubica, finally decided to join the new Manor team. “ I had several options for 2010, some with more established teams », Underlined Glock on Autosport.

« The team may be small and new but they have big ambitions, a very impressive car and a development programme. I am confident that I can play an important role at a technical level and this is a fantastic opportunity for me. I can't wait to start testing the new car early next year. »

After two seasons spent with Toyota, the German finished tenth in the 2009 Championship with 24 points and missed the last two Grand Prix of the season due to an accident in Japan. He reached the podium twice.
