The Singapore Grand Prix is always a special appointment. Highly appreciated by most of the paddock, the Singapore round also represents a great physical challenge for the drivers.

Its series of turns in the narrow streets but above all the heat, humidity and lack of draft put the actors to the test throughout the weekend. It is not for nothing that the meeting in the city-state is renowned as one of the toughest of the year and the new single-seaters which tend to bounce should not help the drivers' affairs.

For this return to the streets of Singapore, Pierre Gasly already foresees “ good sleep time » to be physically fit as the 17th approachese meeting of the year. “ We all know these are extreme conditions, he warns. But I love this track and the place. I've missed it the last few years and I'm looking forward to it."

On the side of Carlos Sainz, the trend is similar to that of the French who expects to suffer in every sense of the word in Singapore. “ It will be a tough race, both mentally and physically with the bumps and heat, the bounces, says the representative of the Team Ferrari. I think it will be the hardest race of the year."
