For the ninth time this season in ten qualifying confrontations, Nico Rosberg had to bow to his teammate at Mercedes Lewis Hamilton. But this time, the fight was not as close as usual, with the German conceding almost six tenths over the Briton.
« I have no explanation, confessed the vice-world champion after the session. Qualifying went according to plan, but I just couldn't find the rhythm and it's been a bit of a lift this weekend for unexplained reasons, so we need to look into this tonight. I'm definitely not happy with how the day went. »
But the German does not intend to give up for the race. “There are going to be some opportunities, too in terms of strategy. We'll see about that tomorrow morning. Because the strategy will be discussed at that time. But anyway, the balance of my car is made for racing. »
The Hungarian Grand Prix will be followed live with commentary tomorrow from 14 p.m. on AUTOhebdo.fr, and photos from the weekend can be viewed here.
