The only French pilot present in Formula 3 this season, Sami Meguetounif had a promising start to the season after two seasons spent in FRECA. Engaged with Trident, within a cutting-edge team, the Marseillais has been there in terms of performance since the start of the year. Qualified in the top 5 (and ahead of his teammates) in Bahrain for his very first race in the category, he finished 4th in the main race in Sakhir, scoring big points for his debut, despite a weekend placed under the sign of learning.

The Frenchman then wanted to confirm in Melbourne, but after having signed the first two sectors in purple on his qualifying lap, he made a mistake in the last corner, unfortunately compromising his entire weekend, which he completed without the least point. An accident that he obviously regrets very much, but which he intends to use to reach a new level.
