Stefan GP signs with Toyota

While Martin Whitmarsh (McLaren team boss and FOTA President) was surprised that no new team was able to purchase the plans for the TF110 (stillborn Toyota) for the 2010 season, Stefan GP announced a partnership with Toyota to prepare for its arrival in F1.

The negotiations between Stefan GP and Toyota were the subject of a detailed article in AUTOhebdo. At the end of January, the Serbian Zoran Stefanovic's team and the Japanese brand announced the signing of an agreement for the resumption of activity F1 of Toyota (single-seaters and Cologne plant) with technological support.

Thanks to this new contract, Stefan GP is the first substitute to line up in March in Bahrain if one of the thirteen registered teams cannot be present.
