New grid for this 3rd Sprint race of the season! For the first time in his career, Kevin Magnussen will start from pole position for the Sprint race of the São Paulo Grand Prix (Brazil). The pilot Haas took advantage of the changing conditions on Friday during qualifying to place his VF-22 in first place on the grid. As a reminder, the result of the Sprint race will determine the starting grid for the Grand Prix on Sunday.

The Dane will be accompanied on the front row by the double world champion, Max Verstappen. The Dutchman could do a 3/3 in the Sprint race, having already won at Imola and in Austria in this same format. The 2nd row will be 100% British with George Russell in front Lando Norris. The pilot Mercedes made a mistake during Q3 on Friday, causing a red flag, but retained his 3rd place on the grid despite everything.

Just behind, we find Carlos Sainz in front of both Alpine byEsteban Ocon et Fernando Alonso, well placed in the fight against McLaren even if Norris is in front. Lewis Hamilton, Sergio Pérez and Charles Leclerc complete the top 10. The Monegasque will try to make up for the strategic error of his team during qualifying. Pierre Gasly will start the Sprint race in 12th position.

The start of the São Paulo Grand Prix Sprint race will be at 20:30 p.m. (French time) and will be followed live text, on AUTOhebdo.
