24H Nürburgring – Audi Sport crews aiming to win
The competition-customer service ofAudi Sport will support three teams for the 24 2019 Hours of Nürburgring (Germany, June 20-23): Car Collection Motorsport, Land Motorsport and Phoenix Racing. “These three teams have won this race at least once in the past,” explains Chris Reinke, head of customer racing at Audi Sport.
The least we can say is that there will be some heavy lifting within the Rings brand. Three-time winner Markus Winkelhock will be partnered by two-time winner Christopher Haase at Car Collection as well as three-time winner Marcel Fässler. 24 Hours of Le Mans but never on the top step of the podium on the Nordschleife.

The 2017 champion of DTM, René Rast, will team up with Kelvin van der Linde and Christopher Mies at Team Land. Another former winner of the tough German race will strengthen the Phoenix Racing structure in the person of Frank Stippler. Official Audi Sport drivers Dries Vanthoor, Pierre Kaffer and Frédéric Vervisch complete the entries for Phoenix Racing. Other teams will enter Audi R8 LMS but will not be supported at the same level by Audi Sport.
