Samantha Tan: “We are proud to be on the podium”

The ST Racing with Rinaldi left the Nürburgring, venue for the fourth round of theEndurance GT World Challenge Europe Cup, with a first podium in the Endurance Cup this season in the Pro-Am category for the Ferrari 296 GT3 #38 driven by Samantha Tan, Jon Miller and Isaac Tutumlu. A car that the trio drove for only the second time in competition after the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

« I am very happy to be on the GTWC EU podium for the first time with the 296 GT3 and my teammates Jon Miller and Isaac Tutumlu, said the 25-year-old Canadian. The Rinaldi Racing team gave us a superb car to fight with this weekend and, with their victories at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, I am sure that we will climb to the top step very soon. It was a difficult weekend, with changing track conditions every session. We went from rain to blue skies and sunshine in the space of an hour. This is typical Eifel weather, but it made it more difficult to develop a perfect setup and compare consistent data. That said, we still faced the situation and we are proud to be on the podium. »

« I am very happy with the result after not being able to finish in Spa, added his teammate Isaac Tutumlu. It's a good return for the team, and the performance of the car was incredible. During my driving time I was very comfortable with the car and it was very fast, so I would like to thank Ferrari and Rinaldi for this great car. I'm really looking forward to the Barcelona Race because we are now close to third and second in the championship so we will go there to fight for the best. »
