Ma Qing Hua joins Lynk & Co Cyan Racing

Chinese TCR champion and former Formula 1 test driver Ma Qing Hua has joined reigning world champions Lynk & Co Cyan Racing ahead of the start of the 2022 World Touring Car Cup campaign.

Ma Qing Hua joins Lynk & Co Cyan Racing

The first Chinese driver to win a race in an FIA world championship continues his merry way. Chinese TCR champion in 2020, Ma Qing Hua returns to WTCR alongside Lynk & Co Cyan Racing.

“I am delighted to join Cyan Racing, the most successful team in the WTCR, and represent Lynk & Co as a Chinese driver on the FIA ​​world racing stage,” did he declare. I have enormous respect for the tasks ahead of us, there is no tougher touring car race on the planet than in the WTCR. But I'm confident that we have a really strong package and that I can contribute to our push for world titles this year. »

The Chinese driver will even settle in Gothenburg in Sweden, near the Cyan Racing headquarters, as part of preparation for the WTCR program:

“We are delighted to have Ma Qing Hua with us, his performances have been impressive over the past two seasons. His strong Lynk & Co 03 TCR and WTCR experience will be essential to our program, and we look forward to working closely with him.”, declared Fredrik Wahlén, Team Manager of the team.

After a full 2021 season, Lynk & Co Cyan Racing returns for the 2022 WTCR on the strength of its driver and team titles, including four victories and 14 podiums. For the moment, Ma Qing Hua is the only driver announced by the Swedish team. Further information on the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing line-up is expected to be released soon.
