Rouergue: Camilli widens the gap

Eric Camilli took advantage of the Moyrazes special, the piece of the day with 27,60 kilometers on the Avyron tarmac, to increase his lead to more than 10 seconds over Léo Rossel.

Rouergue: Camilli widens the gap

The two PH Sport team drivers are in great form on the rally du Rouergue after the massacre of the first stage.

Leader on the evening of the first stage, Eric Camilli (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) perfectly managed the first loop this Saturday. Author of the best time in SS 8, the driver from Nice showed his burst of speed in the famous Moyrazes special to make the break on Léo Rossel (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil).

Indeed, after gaps which never exceeded 4 seconds, Camilli returned to Rodez for the break with 11,6 seconds ahead of his pursuer. The two drivers also dominate the Michelin Premium Trophy.

At ease since the start of the rally, Léo Rossel confirmed his rise in power at the wheel of the C3 Rally2 and remains threatening on Camilli before the last three special stages of the rally.

Two-wheel drive boss, Raphaël Astier (A110 Rally-CHL Sport Auto) is on track to reach the final podium.

Author of a good third time in the Moyrazes time trial, Jean-Michel da Cunha (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) maintains diligent driving which allows him to be more than 20 seconds ahead of William Wagner (Fabia RS Rally2- Sarrazin Motorsport) in the fight for the Top 5.

On the way to a second victory in the Michelin Amateur Trophy, Ludovic Jeudy (205 GTi) went off the road in SS 8 and left first place to Styve Juif (Clio Rally4) who now has a comfortable lead over his pursuers .

Firmly established at the head of the Clio Trophy France since the start of the rally, Valentin Ascenzi (Clio Rally5) made a mistake in SS 8. Benjamin Stirling (Clio Rally5-Sébastien Loeb Racing-Bardhal) took the opportunity to take control of the Trophy ahead of Yoan Corberand (Clio Rally5-Sébastien Loeb Racing-Bardhal) and Arthur Pelamourgues (Clio Rally5).

Confident behind the wheelAlpine A110 Rally, Pierre Roché (Team FJ) continues to be ahead of Vincent Leduc (A110 Rally-CHL Sport Auto) and Ludovic Godard (A110 Rally) in the Trophy Alpine Elf Rally.
