Rallye du Touquet – Rossel leads the first day

Léo Rossel (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) quickly got into action this Friday on the banks of the Channel. The Gard driver, from the outset, opened up big gaps over his opponents. It was not a puncture in SS 3 or an open hood problem in SS 5 that thwarted the ambitions of the Gard driver.

Author of 5 scratches today, Rossel returned to Le Touquet with a margin of 26,3 seconds over his opponents. “The car is really efficient. THE rally is still long, but I am very happy with this lead over Yoann. » A nice margin!

Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport) admits to having performed well in SS 8, but the 2 Alpes driver is satisfied with his day with second place in the provisional standings. What a rally from Eric Brunson (C3 Rally2), the Norman finished the day in the Top 3. A great gift for his birthday.

It’s growing behind!

Hugo Margaillan (i20 N Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) is now in fourth place after “suffering” in special no. 8. In the duel to complete the Top 5, Jean-Baptistte Franceschi (Fiesta Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport-Iron Lynx ) had the last word on Anthony Fotia (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil). The latter complained of a lack of power.

In two-wheel drive, Raphaël Astier (A110 Rally-CHL Sport Auto) is in the lead ahead of Quentin Gilbert (A110) and Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Team Bonneton HDG-2C Compétition), burned after a collision in the second loop of this first daytime.
