Le Rally of Croatia (May 18-21) will it be that of the three pass for Adrien fourmaux ? Back on a complete program in WRC after a WRC2 interlude in 2023, the Northerner appears under a completely different face.

The mistakes and bad luck of 2022 seem like a distant memory for the pilot M-Sport whose recent results work in its favor. Fifth at the start of the season in Monte-Carlo, the Habs have since scored two podiums in Sweden and more recently in Kenya. The first of his young career.

It is therefore with good momentum that Adrien Fourmaux arrives in Croatia, the land of his big debut in the premier category in 2021. At the time, the Frenchman had won a 5e place behind the wheel of the Ford Fiesta WRC. So, this year, the trend is once again a positive result to extend the good series.

« It's a very good start to the season with two podiums in two rallies and we must continue like this, entrusts the driver of the M-Sport N°16 Puma. We got one on snow, one on dirt, so all we need is asphalt now. In Kenya, I was really happy for the team. It was a fantastic weekend and they did a great job. The car has been really reliable and we haven't had any problems. This result was for them. We may have been cautious, but it was definitely positive. When I got back behind the wheel of the Puma this year, I was aiming for the podium in the second half of the season, but we are already there."

Currently third in the championship, Adrien Fourmaux will not be disadvantaged by his starting position. On the Croatian asphalt, the Seclinois can in fact immediately claim a good place in the general classification unlike an event on gravel.

« We will have a good position on the road starting third in Croatia, he notes. This is something positive again! » Hoping that this still brings him luck.
