Ott Tänak had started the 2015 season well WRC with a solid performance at the start of Rally Monte-Carlo, where the Estonian had placed his Ford Fiesta RS M-Sport in fourth position, before an accident on the long ES de Faye ruined his hopes of doing well in the Principality. In Sweden, the 27-year-old driver played the card of caution, and taking advantage of the errors of Jari-Matti Latvala or Mads Ostberg, offered to Malcolm Wilson's team a solid fourth place.
“I am delighted to achieve this result, explains Tänak. We struggled at the start of the race, with an unfavorable road position and a small mistake. After that we weren't engaged in any battles, so we were smart and stayed on the road. It's good to have confidence again. From now on we will try to find speed step by step, and as soon as we have a good feeling, we will be able to attack a little more. I am sure we can be stronger as the rounds of the calendar progress. »
