WRC - Rovanperä / Halttunen, double agents

At the end of a very difficult 12th round, Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen retained their world titles. Initially dominant, the Toyota crew was then able to advance after the symbolic exit of Elfyn Evans. Expected, this second crown rewards a more competitive season than the previous one.

The suspense was not thick, but rally, a lot of things can happen. The CER (Central European Rally) might not even be decisive since Japan was still behind (November 16-19). With a 31-point lead, Kalle Rovanperä would have to finish ahead of Elfyn Evans to make it a reality… or wait until the trip to Asia to conclude.
