Ranking Rally of Croatia 2024:

Drivers Championship:

Points registered only in Croatia:

Manufacturers' Championship:

  • As in 2021, the Rally from Croatia was decided in the finish between Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) and Elfyn Evans (Toyota)! The Frenchman, back as a luxury freelancer after Monte-Carlo in January, was not the fastest throughout the meeting, but certainly the most consistent and efficient.
  • Third thief on Friday and Saturday, the Frenchman, accompanied by Vincent Landais, was able to take advantage of the blunders of the leading duo on Sunday morning. This is Sébastien Ogier's 59th victory in WRC and his 100th podium.
  • “We never gave up even if we knew that the starting position was not ideal. I have never experienced such “hot” moments on a rally as this weekend! 15 years ago, if someone had told me that I would score 100 WRC podiums, I wouldn't have believed it! »
  • Elfyn Evans, who made a mistake at the end of the course, was content with 2nd place. The Welshman reassures himself with the highest number of points scored among all WRC drivers over the entire weekend (rally + Sunday + Power Stage).
  • Best performer this weekend (9 scratch times), Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) should logically have won this Croatia Rally. But the WRC remains a spectacle full of surprises and the Belgian made a mistake in the penultimate special, Sunday morning. A note announced too late by co-driver Martijn Wydaeghe and the Hyundai i20 Rally1 hybrid hit the embankment. Rear wing out of order, the South Korean car could no longer keep up with the Toyotas. Thierry Neuville is therefore satisfied with 3rd place in the final but scores big points in the championship.
  • Despite an impact against a concrete block which damaged the right front axle, Adrien fourmaux (M-Sport Ford) was able to restart and finish the event outside the top 10. He scored the points for 5th place awarded on Saturday evening and the 5 points for the Power Stage (1st time in his career), which helped him continue his good spring in the WRC Drivers' Championship!

  • Hyundai could not count on Ott Tänak and Andreas Mikkelsen to support Thierry Neuville. The two experienced drivers were not transcendent this weekend (4th and 7th).
  • In WRC2, success goes to Nikolay Gryazin. The Russian dominated the proceedings and also took advantage of a double puncture from his teammate Yohan Rossel on Saturday afternoon. Citroën and the DG Sport Compétition achieve the double as the Frenchman finishes 2nd, which allows him to once again take the lead in the WRC2 championship!
  • In the Junior WRC, the Estonian Romet Jürgensen was never worried. He is ahead of Taylor Gill by more than two minutes. Note the excellent performance of the young Frenchman Mattéo Castillon (Renault Clio). Engaged in WRC3, the Habs were in the fight for the podium with two stages remaining, behind Jürgensen and Gill.
  • The next round is scheduled for Portugal, from May 9 to 12.
