The entry list for the 2020 Monte-Carlo Rally

88 crews, including 11 WRC and 5 WRC2, will be expected in around ten days for the start of the 2020 season of the World Rally Championship at Rally Monte Carlo (January 23-26).

The Monegasque classic will be able to count on the crews announced at Hyundai Motorsport with duos Ott Tänak – Martin Järveoja, Thierry Neuville – Nicolas Gilsoul and Sébastien Loeb –Daniel Elena. Crews that could logically hope to offer Hyundai a first victory in Monte-Carlo.

With a completely recomposed line-up with the arrivals of Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia (title holders), Elfyn Evans – Scott Mattin and Kalle Rovanperä – Jonne Halttunen, Toyota Gazoo Racing will aim for a return to the top step of the Monte-Carl' podium, the last success of the Japanese firm dating back to 1998 with Carlos Sainz.

M-Sport Ford, the only team to have already won in the Principality with Sébastien Ogier in 2017 and 2018, will rely on the tandems Esapekka Lappi – Janne Ferm, Teemu Suninen – Jarmo Lehtinen and Gus Greensmith – Elliott Edmondson.

Two other WRCs will be entered for this season opener, a Toyota Yaris WRC for Takamoto Katsuta and a Ford Fiesta for Lithuanian Deividas Jocius.

French Touch in WRC2 / WRC3

The categories will see French drivers in a good position, since Adrien fourmaux (Ford Fiesta R5 – M-Sport Ford) in WRC2, Yoann Bonato, Nicolas Ciamin, Eric Camilli, Yohan Rossel (Citroën C3 R5) and Stéphane Sarrazin (Hyundai i20 R5) in WRC3 will be there.

The Hyundai i20 R5s officially supported by Alzenau in WRC2 will be entrusted to Nikolay Gryazin and Ole Christian Veiby, while Mads Ostberg will defend the interests of Citroën Racing. We must not forget Oliver Solberg (Volkswagen Polo R5), not entered in WRC2.
