The fantasy of seeing four Rally1s per team fades

The chances of seeing Hyundai Motorsport and Toyota Gazoo Racing field 4 cars next year are now almost zero. Needless to say, this was never in M-Sport's plans. The cost of these cars is necessarily in question, but doesn't this also demonstrate that there is a concern about the return on investment?

Except on very rare occasions, the observation was the same round after round. The Rally1 field was poor throughout the season with fewer competitors in the premier category than last year, when the logic should have been the opposite. Faced with this evidence, the comments of the leaders of the two organizations which manage this discipline, the FIA ​​and the promoter, have often been out of step.
