The day after his victory in Rally Monte Carlo 2024, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) has put on sale the helmet he wore during the ascent of the legendary Col de Turini, scene of the Power Stage.

The Belgian driver, leader of the World Rally Championship (WRC) after this inaugural round of the 2024 season, collaborated with Belgian artist Frédéric Platéus for a unique helmet decoration. Thierry Neuville will use three other artistic helmets like this one. Each time, the helmet will be sold at auction and all of the funds raised will be donated to an association chosen by the pilot and the artist.

For this helmet, Thierry Neuville chose the Antoine Alléno Association. On May 8, 2022, Antoine Alléno tragically died at the age of 24, the victim of a fatal act of violence that should never have been committed. His family and friends decided to transform their grief into constructive energy in order to help and take action. Together, they founded the Antoine Alléno Association to prevent acts of violence against children and help victims under 25 and their families.

The helmet, estimated between 12 and 18 euros by Bonhams, has already reached 000 pounds sterling while the end of the sale is scheduled for February 9 at the beginning of the afternoon. Note that the helmet will be signed by Thierry Neuville.
