Valtteri Bottas tests the Toyota Yaris WRC

Second in the general classification of the world championship F1, Valtteri Bottas took advantage of this weekend's break between the British Grand Prix and the German meeting at Hockenheim in a week to take his mind off things.

The pilot Mercedes-AMG F1 was able to try its hand at driving the Toyota Yaris WRC world champion with the Gazoo Racing WRT of Tommi Mäkinen. The driving session took place in Finland, in the presence of the team boss.

It was not Bottas' first outing in a new generation WRC since the former resident of Williams Racing competed in the Arctic Lapland on snow at the start of the year with a Ford Fiesta prepared by the team M-Sport.
