While its first public release in France will take place at Rally National Winter of Dévoluy on December 9 and 10, the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 was seen testing in the French Alps at the beginning of December.
Toyota Gazoo Racing has not communicated excessively on the conduct of these training sessions. We just know that Stéphane Lefebvre was requisitioned, just like Sami Pajari. The Japanese manufacturer, however, refuted the idea that the Frenchman, champion WRC-3 and Junior WRC 2014 as well as the Finn, 2021 Junior WRC champion, could become official drivers in 2024 in WRC2, according to our colleagues at Dirt Fish.
