1. Who is Nicolas Lapierre?
Nicolas Lapierre is a French pilot, his date of birth is April 2, 1984. His birthplace is Thonon-les-Bains. He is one of the reference drivers in Endurance and in the WEC, having won Le Mans four times in LM P2 (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019).
2. Nicolas Lapierre’s junior career
Nicolas Lapierre's competitive debut was in karting and single-seater racing. His adventure with the Signature structure began in 2003, in the Euroseries. At 19, he became the youngest winner of the F3 World Cup. He won the Macau GP this season. He then drove in the GP2 Series from 2005 to 2007 before choosing Endurance.
3. Nicolas Lapierre’s Endurance Course
2007 was his first appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Oreca. After four participations and two 5th places (2009 and 2011), Toyota is securing its services from the 2012 season for the WEC (World Endurance Championship).
The Toyota adventure ends during the 2014 season after a third place at Le Mans and a third place in the 2012 world championship as well as six victories.
He won the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the first time with KCMG, in the LM P2 category, in 2015. Returning to France with Signatech in 2016, he retained his LM P2 title at Le Mans while being crowned at the end of the season. In 2017, Nicolas Lapierre tried his luck again at Le Mans in LM P1 with Toyota (retirement).
Returning to LM P2 with Signatech, Lapierre won two new successes at Le Mans in 2018 and 2019. He finished on the overall podium in 2021 in the Hypercar category with Alpine, a team supported by Signatech.

Lapierre is an experienced and reliable racing driver. Le Mans is a race that smiles on him with four victories in the LM P2 category, plus two podiums with Toyota in LM P1 then Alpine in Hypercar while waiting to add the general to his list of achievements.
Spearhead ofAlpine alongside drivers André Negrão and Matthieu Vaxiviere, he is also the manager of COOL Racing.
He especially made a name for himself in the WEC where he built up his track record. Quadruple winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LM P2 category, he is a double champion in this category (2016, 2018-2019 season). He also won the Sebring circuit in 2018 in IMSA.
