VIDEO – Pedro Acosta’s big fall in Jerez

Acosta crashed in turn 7, a very fast left that follows three right turns. The left sidewall of the tire therefore has time to cool before entering the curve, which has surprised many drivers in the past.

The KTM rider lost the front at high speed and crossed the gravel trap, like his machine. The latter crashed against the airfences, barely a few meters next to Pedro Acosta, who also hit this “wall of air”.

Although he appeared shocked by the incident, the Spaniard was able to get up and leave the scene of the incident alone. He was then taken back to the paddock before probably going to the medical center. This is to decide whether or not to participate in this afternoon's Grand Prix.
