Petter Solberg (Citroen C4 WRC), first leader of Rally from New Zealand, once again takes the lead at the end of SS8. Author of the best time in this special ahead of Sébastien Loeb (Citroën C4 WRC), the Norwegian overtakes overall Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford Focus WRC) and Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C4 WRC), while Dani Sordo (Citroën C4 WRC) remains fourth. The four drivers are within seven seconds. There is still a super special stage to contest, on the route taken on Thursday during the shakedown.
