Author of two scratches in SS20 and 21, Sébastien Loeb grabbed the head of the rally. Handicapped by the sweep, Jari-Matti Latvala even had to give up his 2nd place to his teammate Mikko Hirvonen. After hitting the front in SS22, Sébastien Ogier lost more than 30″. The Citroën Junior Team hopeful now occupies 5th place behind Dani Sordo.
