Nyck de Vries (ART Grand Prix) is on course to strike a big blow at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium). The Dutchman, already fast during free practice, took pole position for the Long Race (start Saturday August 31 at 16:45 p.m.). An ideal way to consolidate the hold of the leader in the general classification on the championship.
A spin by Sean Gelael (Prema) caused the session to be stopped with a red flag. So, Nicholas latifi (Dams, 2nd in the championship) did not have the opportunity to improve his time. The Canadian will have a lot to do since starting in 11th place.
Disappointment in the French clan. Giuliano Alesi (Trident) and Anthoine Hubert (Arden) will start from 12th and 13th place.
