Qualifying confirmed what had been glimpsed during free practice, both Peugeot ahead of the two Audis. At the wheel of the #908 7, Anthony Davidson set a time of 1:21:769. Stéphane Sarrazin follows at 75 thousandths. Tom Kristensen (Audi R18 n°2) falls 0??269 behind the best time, and is ahead of Marcel Fässler by five tenths. Neel Jani (Lola-Toyota Rebellion Racing) was the fastest of the “gasoline clan”. In LMP2, pole went to Franck Mailleux, aboard the No. 26 Oreca Signatech Nissan.
