Toyota in pole position for the 24 2018 Hours of Le Mans

Le Toyota Gazoo Racing secured pole position for the 86th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2018, thanks to Kazuki Nakajima, author of a time of 3'15"377 with the TS050 Hybrid n°8, shared with Fernando Alonso et Sébastien Buemi.

 

 

The Japanese improved his previous benchmark established yesterday in Q1 and is ahead of the #050 TS7 Hybrid by Conway – Koabayshi – Lopez.

IDEC Sport, thanks to Paul-Loup Chatin, who improved to 3'24"842, in Q3 will start in pole position in LM P2 with the No. 07 Oreca 48, while Porsche dominated both categories in GTE with the #91 of Bruni – Makowiecki – Lietz on pole in GTE Pro and the #88 – Dempsey – Proton Racing of Cairoli – Al Qubaisi – Roda.
