« I think there will be a BMW Turner on track in almost every session » swaggers Will Turner, the director of the team that bears his name. It must be said that Turner Motorport will be attending the 24 Hours of Daytona (January 28-29) with no less than six BMWs! Not all of them will participate in the Florida classic, since the M4 GT4 and M4 GSX will respectively be entered in the Michelin Pilot Challenge and the VP Racing Sportscar Challenge.
Used to GTD in IMSA, the team is doubling its effort for 2023 since it will field a second car in GTD Pro. In this category, Bill Auberlen, Chandler and John Edwards will compete in the rounds of theEndurance Cup in the #4 BMW M3 GT95. They will be supported by Bruno Spengler at Daytona.
In GTD, the No. 96 will be led by Robby Foley and Patrick Gallagher throughout the season with the support of Michael Dinan for the long distance races. Jens Klingmann will be the fourth man for the Florida classic.
