Just over a week before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Pirelli revealed the tire allocation planned for the 3e round of the 2022 F1 season.
At Imola (April 22 to 24), drivers and teams will have a medium range available with hard C2s, medium C3s and soft C5s. Note that the same allocation was chosen for the following meeting in Miami (May 6 to 8) while in Spain (May 20 to 22) and Monaco (May 27 to 29) it will be different.
At the Spanish Grand Prix, Pirelli will give the teams the hard C1, the medium C2 and the soft C3. In Monaco, the Italian manufacturer opted for the hard C3, the medium C4 and the soft C5.
Confirmed: tire choices for the next four races! One set of softs must be saved for Q3 with those qualifying in the top-ten returning them. One set of mediums and hards must be kept for the race, with drivers using at least one of those sets. 🏁#F1 # Fit4F1 #Pirelli # Pirelli150 pic.twitter.com/OG4stLPtUN
