The third free practice session for the Bahrain Grand Prix was interrupted by a red flag after Romain Grosjean (Haas). The French driver made a mistake at turn 4, damaging his VF17 at the front wing, which the former Lotus driver had changed a few minutes ago during a previous visit to the pits.
Grosjean was able to bring back his car in slow motion in the pits.
