Manthey EMA will be one to watch during the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The German team has revealed the names of the four drivers who will take part in the double round of the clock on the “Green Hell” on May 20 and 21, aboard the new Porsche 911 GT3 R. Four official Porsche drivers will have the honor of driving the Porsche “Grello”: Michael Christensen, Kévin Estre, Frédéric Makowiecki and Thomas Preining. Among the four men, three have already won the event (Makowiecki in 2018, Christensen and Estre in 2021). Preining will participate in the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring for the 4th time in his career, with a best result of 9th place in 2021. He will also drive for Manthey EMA during the 2023 season of the DTM.

“We want to fight for our eighth overall victory this year in what is probably the most important individual race for us, said Nicolas Raeder, Managing Director of Manthey Racing. Our field of drivers is promising and the Nordschleife is our 'home' circuit. With the latest generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 R, we want to build on the successes achieved with the previous model. Furthermore, I am proud that we can prove our skills in both the endurance races and the sprint races of the DTM this season. It will be an exciting year for us”
