Hyundai announces the arrival of a recruit in its ranks

The line-up of Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing in the TCR World Tour sees the arrival of a reinforcement as the start of the season approaches. Néstor Girolami, former Honda representative and 2022 runner-up in the last edition of the WTCR, arrives at the South Korean manufacturer just over a month before the first round of the campaign, scheduled for Vallelunga (Italy, 19- April 21th).

At Hyundai, the Argentinian will support the ever-presents Norbert Michelisz, reigning TCR World Tour champion, and Mikel Azcona. The firm thus goes from two to three Elantra N TCRs entered.

« I am extremely excited to join Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing for the 2024 TCR World Tour season, welcomes Néstor Girolami. Moving to a new manufacturer and a new team is a new challenge in my career, but one that I am very excited about. Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing and the team have had huge successes in previous seasons, so there is some pressure, but I think I will be able to slot straight into the team and immediately challenge for the victories.
