Dani Sordo (Hyundai) signs the best time of the fifth ES of the Rally of Argentina 2018, contested in parallel clash between the drivers. The Spaniard is 1″1 ahead of Elfyn Evans’ Ford Fiesta and 1″8 ahead of Kris Meeke’s Citroën C3.
Fourth in the sector at 2″8, Ott Tänak (Toyota) however carried out the good operation of the ES by regaining control of the general classification against Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) by eight tenths. Kris Meeke, Sébastien Ogier (Ford) follow in the standings at 3″1 and 4″5. Dani Sordo completes the provisional top 5 having overtaken his teammate Thierry Neuville. 1″8 separate the two Hyundai drivers.
