The Swede announced the news on his Twitter account. After the Rally from Catalonia, Oliver Solberg will once again drive a Hyundai i20 WRC for the last event of the season, in Monza (Italy). He finished seventh in Spain, and last year in Italy in the WRC 2 category, the son of Petter Solberg finished in second place behind Andreas Mikkelsen. For the 2022 season, he will share the third Hyundai car with Dani Sordo.
“Starting the week off in the best possible way as I am delighted to reveal that we will be at Monza in the Hyundai i20. It’s great to be able to drive this car on a rally where I finished 2nd in WRC2 and 7th overall last year.”
