Si Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) received a one-minute penalty after changing the broken wishbone, the five-time champion of WRC signed the scratch in the 20,37km of Içmeler covered in 14'28''2 with more than 6 seconds ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai). Ott Tänak (Toyota) followed at a dozen seconds, taking 8 seconds from his teammate Jari-Matti Latvala. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) followed 20 seconds ahead of Elfyn Evans (M-Sport), Craig Breen and Teemu Suninen (M-Sport).
Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) retired after making a mistake while in 6th place.

Andreas Mikkelsen finds himself at the top of the Rally from Turkey with more than half a minute ahead of Ott Tänak who took the advantage over Jari-Matti Latvala for a little over 2 seconds ahead. Sébastien Ogier finds himself in 4th position less than 8 seconds behind the Finn. Hayden Paddon remains in 5th place while Craig Breen takes advantage of Esapekka Lappi's error to take 6th position ahead of Teemu Suninen.
