Arctic Rally – SS4: Scratch for Evans, Tânak drops seconds

First special victory for a Toyota during this Arctic Rally. Elfyn Evans won SS4 ahead of his two teammates Kalle Rovanperä and Sébastien Ogier.

This fourth special was probably favorable to the top speed of the Yaris since the first Hyundai, that of Thierry Neuville, is only in 4th place 4“5 from Elfyn Evans.


The classification of SS4

Only 8th in SS4 and not far from the disaster, Ott Tänak let a few seconds slip away from the general but nothing too serious. The Hyundai driver maintains the lead in the standings with a 21" lead over his new runner-up, Kalle Rovanperä.

Craig Breen (Hyundai) falls back to third place and is 22” behind Ott Tänak. Thierry Neuville and Elfyn Evans complete the Top 4. Sébastien Ogier is still behind. The Habs are 5” behind the leader.
