Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) lost around 25 seconds in the 6km Fernet Branca super special by being slowed down by the loss of its power steering which suffered on the previous route of the Rally from Argentina. Kris Meeke (Toyota) also lost seconds by handfuls suffering from a loose wheel, his spare wheel also being damaged.
Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) signed the scratch with 6 tenths ahead of his teammate Dani Sordo. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) followed a second ahead Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) which was able to take a second back Ott Tänak (Toyota).
Thierry Neuville returns to service with a little more than 6 seconds ahead of Ott Tänak. Andreas Mikkelsen takes 3rd place against Kris Meeke. Dani Sordo climbs into the Top 5 while Sébastien Ogier falls to 6th position, more than 9 seconds behind the Spaniard. Jari-Matti Latvala remains 7th ahead of Teemu Suninen. Mads Ostberg (Citroën) still occupies 9th place, leading the WRC 2 Pro.
