Monte-Carlo-Shakedown: Kris Meeke at the forefront

After three passes in the shakedown of Rally Monte-Carlo, it's Kris Meeke (Toyota) who took control of the provisional classification. The Briton improved the previous benchmark by a tenth. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën), to lower the standard time to 1'56″8.

Ogier remains second in the standings and still ahead of his teammate Esapekka Lappi, who improved his time to 1'57″3. Ott Tänak (Toyota) and Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota), the latter having made a slight off-trajectory excursion, complete the top 5.

 

 

follow Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), already author of a fourth passage in the ES, Teemu Suninen (M-Spott Ford), Elfyn Evans (M-Sport Ford), Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) and Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) for the top 10.

The Frenchman improved his time to 2'00″00, 3″2 behind Meeke. Pontus Tidemand (M-Sport Ford) finished 11th ahead of Kalle Rovenpera (Skoda Fabia R5), first driver in WRC2 Pro.
