Après avoir présenté en juin dernier la 911 Speedster Concept, dont le dernier modèle est exposé au Mondial de l’Automobile à Paris, Porsche a confirmé la vente du modèle pour une série limitée à 1948 exemplaires.
The number 1948 was not chosen at random. The Stuutgart manufacturer refers here to the license obtained by the 356 “Number 1” on June 8, 1948.
All bodywork elements will be taken from the 911 Speedster Concept which is derived from the 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. The front (under which the tank is hidden) and rear covers are made of carbon fiber composite. The chassis comes from the 911 GT3.
The Porsche 911 Speedster will be powered by a flat 6 developing more than 500hp capable of reaching 9000rpm.
