24 H. Off Road: and three for Vigouroux

In a fantastic setting of mountains and palm trees, the Zagora circuit was particularly fast and smooth. Today, the mechanics and especially the tires have been particularly stressed, and some have even left feathers?

Thus the Tomahawk buggy of Lacam and Caze, until then second overall, hit a rock, and had to abandon, with a split chassis. As for the Protrucks of Lansac-Skilton-Davoy and Anquetil-Guyot, a few punctures led to unexpected stops. Despite this, these two cars had a great round, finishing in second and third place?

Far in front, the untouchable Trophy Truck of Eric Vigouroux and Alex Winocq drove at a strong pace, setting the lap record in 18:45, a remarkable time for a 33 km loop. ?It?s really interesting to carry out a test for six hours uninterrupted, at high speed. Once again, our car was totally reliable, and our tires performed very well. Alex and I tried to stay focused for six turns of the dial. It’s a very pleasant feeling to feel so competitive,” explained Eric Vigouroux.

On Friday, the final six-hour round will take place near the Ouarzazate studios. Will the Trophy Truck achieve the grand slam? This is the only uncertainty?
