Behind the two pilots from the Arabian Peninsula, there is the desert. Harry Hunt (Peugeot ) sets the fourth fastest time at a quarter of an hour, but is only 21st overall. The third step on the virtual podium is occupied by the Frenchman Matthew Serradori, five hours (!) from the leader. The driver of the SRT buggy lost a couple of hours due to mechanical problems.
Friday, the last stage of the rally-raid will conclude in the Russian capital, Moscow.
