Al-Rajhi wins the Silk Way Rally

Yazeed Al-Rajhi (Mini JCW Rally) n’a pas tremblé dans la septième et dernière étape du Silk Way Rally disputée entre Lipetsk et Moscou. Dans une spéciale raccourcie de plus de 100km en raison de crues d’eau rendant la traversée impossible, le pilote du Team X-Raid a géré son avance pour rallier l’arrivée avec 1h08 d’avance sur son principal rival Nasser Al-Attiyah (Toyota Hilux).

The podium is completed by Mathieu Serradori (MCM Original). The Frenchman concluded the event more than 5 hours behind the winner, but still finished more than two hours ahead of the Maverick X3 Can-Am of local Sergei Kariakin. The Top 5 of the event is completed by Mariia Oparina (Maverick X3 Atmo BRP).

After his many setbacks, Harry Hunt (Peugeot 3008DKR Maxi) saved the honor by setting the best time in the special shortened to 79km with a time of 49'54.
